University of Nevada Cooperative Extension will hold the Nevada Network of Fire Adapted Communities Fourth Annual Conference 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., March 12, at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, 3800 S. Virginia St. in Reno. 

Registration is almost full, but a few spots are still available. Participants represent the many stakeholders in Nevada's wildland-urban interface fire issue, including members of wildfire-prone communities; local fire service representatives; local, state and federal agencies; and Community Emergency Response Team volunteers from Carson City, Douglas and Washoe Counties.
