The importance that pollinators have in agriculture is being recognized in South Dakota this year. 

Gov. Dennis Daugaard proclaimed the week of June 19-25 as Pollinator Week in the state. There’s good reason for the designation, since South Dakota is one of the top five honey-producing states in the United States.
